Position: Quality Technician (Server Racks-BOTs/Control Modules/Flex)
Job description
Hire Art is helping our client find a Quality Technician (Server Racks-BOTs/Control Modules/Flex) to support the build, testing, and troubleshooting of complex, software-controlled electromechanical systems critical to the company’s autonomous vehicle platform.
In this role, you’ll perform
quality control activities across the server racks (BOTs), electronic modules, and flex production lines, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This position includes inspection, issue debugging, documentation, and
process improvement support.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and experienced in serialized production environments involving complex electromechanical assemblies.
As a Quality Technician (Server Racks-BOTs/Control Modules/Flex), you'll:Perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control (IQC, IPQC, OQC) inspections across rack server assemblies, PCBAs, and electromechanical power and control modules.Utilize precision measurement and test equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, digital multimeters (DVMs), and oscilloscopes.Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records within databases and ERP systems.Ensure proper physical and virtual movement of serialized products throughout the manufacturing process.Initiate and manage nonconformance reports, participate in root cause analysis, and coordinate with responsible stakeholders.Support material review board (MRB) disposition activities in collaboration with engineering teams.Perform calibration and maintain test and measurement equipment in accordance with ISO requirements.Prepare and submit PPAP documentation for approval.Recommend improvements to inspection processes and quality procedures.Comply with all safety regulations and company safety programs.Perform additional quality-related tasks as required.Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent8+ years of progressive QA experience in a fully or semi-automated serialized production environment involving complex electromechanical assemblies (aerospace, automotive, medical device, robotics, or similar industries)Proficiency with quality control tools, SAP or Oracle ERP systems, and Microsoft Office or Google WorkspaceStrong organizational, written, and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to manage tight deadlines and competing prioritiesBonus
Qualifications:
