Job Description
Accountabilities:
- Dispensing and distribution of medications (including individual patient prescriptions ward stock and narcotics), non-sterile and sterile compounding (including TPN, CIVA and chemotherapy preparation) inventory control
- Other duties as assigned
- Currently licensed pharmacy technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Hospital experience preferred
- Registration with the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technicians preferred
- Excellent oral, interpersonal and written skills
- Computer experience preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration
- Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record
- Experience in the manufacturing of sterile and non-sterile products preferred
- May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites
Hours:
Currently evenings/nights, 8 and 12 hours including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
Salary:
Minimum: $ 31.33 per hour
Maximum: $38.60 per hour
