We are currently hiring for a CSR in the Etobicoke area that comes from the building supply industry

Position Customer Service Rep

Customer Service - Etobicoke

Location Etobicoke [Fully on site]
Pay Rate 55K (Stretch to 60K for a superstar)
Shift 8AM-5:00PM (Flexible if the candidate wants to start at 7AM or 7:30AM)
Eligible for hire after 480 hrs.

• 5+ Years of Customer Service/Order Entry experience within Building Supply/Construction Industry

• Someone that has experience working with orders for multiple product lines at 1 time

• Will be working alongside 2 very self-competent CSR’s

• Personable, with good communication skills – will be dealing with orders coming in through their website, and over the phone/email

• Excellent Computer aptitude, they use an older DOS based program for orders, need to be able to learn/navigate with ease

Customer Service/Administration

• Answer and transfer calls and take messages.

• Weekly coordination of mail and couriers (sorting/sending/receiving).

• Provide support for the sales team and Branch Sales Manager.

• Routine paperwork and filing as required.

• Accurately enter data into the CRM (Sales Force) and Mainframe system.
Selling

• Enter orders and process credit card payments.

• Assist the Sales team with inside sales and making sure data gets imputed into the CRM

• Create and maintain a positive company image by promoting products and services.

• Through telephone and email requests, assist with the preparation of and submit all components for timely and accurate product, technical, pricing information and quotes.

• Work closely with the sales team to promptly follow-up on all sales leads.

• Coordinate handling of customer inquiries and issues.

• Cultivate and maintain professional working relationships with clients.
Operations

• Alert the purchasing department of low inventory items as noticed when processing orders.

• Obtain freight rates and coordinate outbound LTL shipments.

• Coordinate with the operations team to schedule deliveries
Communication

• Ensure all written and oral communication with clients is accurate, effective, and professional.

• Expand market awareness through effective communication of the features, benefits and value proposition of the Company’s products, services, and industry experience.
QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma.

• 5+ years’ Customer Service/administrative and/or Sales experience in the construction/industrial industry.

• Proficient in the use of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool (i.e. Salesforce) - ASSET

• Experience with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Slides) would be beneficial.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills - listening, oral and written.

• Ability to mult-task
