Description

Job Summary

The Sales Support position is responsible to liaise between RSMs, dealers and internal departments, daily processing of sales orders and quotes and maintaining sales data. Additionally, responsible For international quoting, including freight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports the RSMs in the quoting process for all doors.
  • Using the established SOPs of the department, provides daily sales support including:
    a. Providing quotes and approval drawings to Dealers based on RSM input
    b. Obtains freight quotes when required.
    c. Prepares and issues approval drawings to Dealer / RSM.
    d. Maintain quote folder and ensures all information is collected and accurate for order processing.
    e. Process orders when required.
    f. Distributes order acknowledgments to the Dealer / RSM
  • Provides feedback on execution of new systems implementation and Continuous Improvement of the quote to order process.
  • Assists in maintaining and updating product items in Synergy and Macola.
  • Add new prospects into Synergy and maintain dealer contact information.
  • Participates in training programs.
  • Periodically performs other duties as assigned or required.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
  • Comply with all company health, safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
  • Fulfill worker responsibilities under the Occupational Health & Safety Act, including the right to refuse unsafe work.
  • Report hazards, near misses, incidents, and compliance issues promptly.
  • Participate in investigations and corrective actions related to health and safety incidents.
  • Adhere to workplace violence and harassment prevention policies (Bill 168).
  • Attend required Environmental Health & Safety training.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software applications.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high standard for accuracy.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong work ethic with a customer-focused mindset.
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset.
  • Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of one year experience in sales and/or customer service.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous administrative experience required.
  • Experience in the door industry is preferred.
