Description of ResponsibilitiesGreat customer service skills. This position works in the Books, Media and/or Art area of Goodwill's Retail Stores and Warehouse facility sorting books, media and/or art. Employees keep the Book and/or Art Department full, organized and clean, photograph and generate description cards for art, and perform other duties including donation attendant, merchandising, cleaning, and other tasks as instructed by supervisors. Sort books, media and art by criteria as instructed.
RequiredExperience
High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Experience in retail, preferably with books and/or art.
Required SkillsMust have sufficient mobility to turn from side to side, lean, kneel or bend. Ability to lift forty (40) pounds. In-depth knowledge of book, media and art categories, best‑selling authors and artists. Ability to use computer to generate description cards and research, work independently with little or no supervision, and work a flexible schedule.
