Responsibilities
  • Performance Culture:
    Analyze sales reports and KPIs to determine business needs; in partnership with the Store Manager, execute in-store business and sales strategies.
  • Establish and communicate clear expectations, holding the store team and self accountable for achieving brand, performance, and behavior standards.
  • Control payroll and supply budgets.
  • Perform and oversee basic operational activities such as scheduling, target shrink audits, physical inventory, opening and closing duties, time sheet review and payroll accuracy documents, and merchandise flow processes.
  • Perform all financial activities in accordance with policy, including cash handling and reporting, price changes, and merchandise handling; ensure all register transactions are completed accurately and per policy.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, loss prevention policies, operating procedures and controls; conduct associate training to reinforce proper controls.
  • Administer operational processes including inventory receipt/dispatch, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and execution and preparation of physical inventories.
  • Ensure visual presentation, organization, and facility maintenance are representative of the Brand.
  • Develop a high performance culture, motivating the sales team to meet sales and productivity goals.
  • Train and coach to ensure the selling team is fluent in product knowledge on line and in store.
  • Train, coach, and assist with locate fulfillment and selling.
  • Building High Performing Teams:
    Motivate and inspire the store team, develop a shared vision while modeling core values.
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem solving.
  • Communicate with store teams and the Store Manager to lead positive change.
  • Seek personal developmental opportunities and solicit feedback to build leadership skills.
  • Customer

    Experience:

    Model, teach, and promote MAPS principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
  • Demonstrate selling excellence by using product knowledge to assist customers and locate or obtain merchandise as needed.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly.
  • Maintain a fast and efficient register experience and stay current on policies regarding payments, coupons, returns and exchanges, security, and other operations.
  • Maintain consistent client communication through customer books, rewards program participation, and customer sign-up.
  • Talent:
    Assist in recruiting, hiring, and developing a high-performing team.
  • Support, implement, and follow up on training programs and seminars.
  • Assess and coach store team on performance.
  • In partnership with the Store Manager, resolve human resources issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Drive associate and team engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
  • Ensure adherence to employment practices and policies.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of retail management experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills
  • Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company
  • Proven excellent customer service skills with a track record in sales and leadership
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership qualities, training and team building skills
  • Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations
  • Able to communicate with customers and staff
