The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of hotel operations, day-to-day staff management, and guest experience. Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of DHM service culture, maximized operations, and guest satisfaction. The hotel operates 24/7, requiring flexibility in shift days and hours.
Essential Job Functions- Oversee all aspects of operations by applying knowledge across hotel management areas, including sales and marketing, human resources, food & beverage, budget and forecast management, rooms, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Provide vision, leadership, and strategy to inspire associates to deliver exceptional service and drive financial success. Demonstrate strong hotel management experience, coach effectively, and build high-performing teams.
- Enable innovation and drive results by executing successful sales and marketing campaigns, understanding dynamic revenue management, and driving profit through strong financial controls.
- Previous General Manager experience is essential.
- F&B experience is a plus.
- Strong and successful Owner Relations partnerships.
- Ability to create and develop a dynamic team.
- Local market experience preferred.
- Typically required to stand, walk, and communicate. Regular use of hands for handling objects or use of equipment. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
