Patient Representative

Overview

Patient Representative position at MD Now Urgent Care. This position is incentive eligible with a potential sign-on bonus for new hires.

We are seeking a Patient Care Representative who provides expertise and champions patient care. Join a team that supports each other and values meaningful patient care.

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner and ensures all Web Check-in procedures are followed
• Answers clinic phone calls, provides information, or refers questions to others as needed
• Verifies insurance in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensures the occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures are observed
• Reviews patient paperwork to ensure completeness and collects necessary insurance/demographic information
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift; ensures all forms of payment are accounted for and documented
• Willing to travel/float between all MD Now locations within the assigned area (preferred)

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start (required)
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs
