The Role

As a Web Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications from the ground up. Collaborating with product and design teams, you'll create seamless user experiences while ensuring strong backend functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using C#, MVC, and ASP.NET.
  • Design and implement user interfaces with modern UI frameworks such as Vue, Angular, React, or Knockout.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  • Ensure applications are high-performing, secure, and responsive.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
  • Stay updated on the latest web technologies and best practices.

    • Key Requirements

  • Strong experience with C#, MVC, and ASP.NET for backend development.
  • Proficiency in at least one UI framework:
    Vue, Angular, React, or Knockout.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.
  • Understanding of database design and management (SQL Server or similar).
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive development approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

    • This role is hybrid in the Essex office with a salary range of £45k-£80k depending on experience. The wider package includes bonus, pension, life cover and more.
