Social Worker – Neighbourhood Team – North Essex – £288 per day

• Location: Colchester & Tendring
• Salary: £288 per day

We are seeking a passionate and committed Social Worker to join our Neighbourhood Team in North Essex, working across both Tendring and Colchester.

Our Neighbourhood teams work closely with partners across health, housing, and the voluntary sector, delivering a collaborative and community-focused approach. The service supports adults aged 18 and over across all specialisms, undertaking a wide range of statutory duties under the Care Act 2014, including:

• Assessments and reviews
• Mental Capacity Assessments
• Adult safeguarding

The team includes Social Workers, Occupational Social Workers, and Community Support Workers, offering a diverse and holistic approach to supporting local residents. You’ll have opportunities to explore assistive technology and equipment, contributing to sustainable solutions that empower adults to live independently.

• Managing a complex caseload
• Assessing risk and delivering purposeful interventions
• Undertaking direct work, commissioning services, and completing reviews
• Safeguarding adults and ensuring best practice
• Contributing specialist social work knowledge within a multi-disciplinary team
