Job SummaryWe are currently seeking an experienced chromatography wizard to join our QC/Analytical team. The ideal candidate will have a background in analytical chemistry combined with expert knowledge of HPLC and other analytical methodologies used to characterize APIs. Experience of working in a regulated environment (GxP) is desirable, although not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate.
Job Description- Develop and validate HPLC methods (reverse phase and chiral) to support characterization and purity assessment of both non‑GMP and GMP manufactured radio‑labelled APIs.
- Troubleshoot both instrumentation and methods in a timely fashion.
- Ensure high quality analytical results are generated according to established written procedures and in line with client expectations and timelines.
- Communicate progress and escalated challenges to Line Manager, project teams and customers as appropriate.
- Represent Analytical Support and Eurofins Selcia in project teams and customer meetings.
- Plan own work and prioritise as necessary with the minimum level of supervision.
- Solve complex scientific problems.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and ensure work is executed appropriately.
- Lead out‑of‑specification investigations and associated quality records as required.
- Promote good scientific practice and process improvements in line with regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate the ability/potential to coach and/or mentor junior scientists.
Ph.D. or graduate education with 2 or more years working in a regulated laboratory.
A key team player and proactive individual with the ability to successfully deliver results within tight deadlines and an eye for detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong customer‑focused approach. The ability to coordinate within interdisciplinary teams is important.
