Base Salary: From £35,000 per annum, depending on experience

Commission: Uncapped commission structure

Car Allowance: Up to £4,200 per annum

Work Location: Remote

Location: Essex, London or the home counties with easy access into London and Essex for team events

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of Space Rocket Digital. This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional who excels at building long-term client relationships, consistently exceeding targets, and working in a consultative manner to deliver tailored digital marketing solutions.

You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and ensuring a high-quality client experience from initial engagement through to post-sale account management.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities through a combination of self-generated leads and company-provided prospects.
  • Client Consultation: Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings to understand client objectives and recommend appropriate digital marketing solutions.
  • Prepare, present, and negotiate proposals: managing the sales process through to successful close.
  • Account Management: Maintain and develop client relationships for up to 12 months post-sale, ensuring a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities within the existing client base to upsell or cross-sell additional services where appropriate.
  • Performance Analysis: Review campaign performance and data to identify growth opportunities and support improved client ROI.

About You
  • Proven success in a sales environment (field sales or high-performing telesales).
  • Digital Marketing Knowledge:
    Experience with in digital marketing is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Core

    Skills:

    Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills, with resilience and a results-driven mindset.
  • Driving Licence:
    Full, clean UK driving licence required.
