This role is ideal for a fluent German speaker with sales support and purchasing experience. The company is a specialist business based in Essex that acts as a purchasing hub for heavy industry and manufacturing clients worldwide. The role involves sourcing heavy industrial equipment, creating quotations, liaising with clients, adding a finder's fee, and arranging shipping with the warehouse.
Responsibilities- Research new suppliers globally to source products
- Compare prices and service levels
- Create quotations for clients, negotiate price and delivery schedule with suppliers
- Handle enquiries from clients for specific heavy industry or essential spare parts
- Agree terms of business and delivery schedule with client
- Liaise with the warehouse to coordinate logistics
- Manage post‑sales administration
- Provide outstanding customer care at all times
- Fluent German
- Car driver (office only accessible by road)
- General admin experience ideally (sales support or general admin)
- Experience creating quotations
- Local to Colchester area or willing to relocate
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum + 10% annual bonus; 25 days holiday and study support.
Team: Manufacturing & Engineering
Hours: 8:30am–5pm
Location: Colchester in Essex (free car parking available)
