GLG Vets is excited to support a growing and well-established veterinary practice in Essex in their search for a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality veterinary care and treatment to a variety of animals.
- Conduct consultations, diagnostics, and surgeries in line with practice protocols.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional service to clients and patients.
- Build strong relationships with pet owners, offering guidance on preventive care.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the practice by assisting in administrative duties and ensuring high standards of clinical care.
About the Practice:
This practice offers a supportive and professional environment, with modern facilities and a fantastic team. The role offers a four-day workweek with no out-of-hours (OOH) work, allowing you to enjoy a balanced lifestyle. CPD is actively encouraged, and the practice is happy to support candidates looking to undertake additional qualifications or certificates.
- Competitive salary of £45,000 £ 55,000 per annum
- Paid memberships (RCVS, BVA, VDS)
- CPD encouraged with support for certificates or equivalent
- No out-of-hours (OOH) work, promoting a great work-life balance

Requirements:
- RCVS registration and veterinary qualification.
- Experience in a veterinary surgeon role preferred but not essential.
- Passion for animal care with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proactive and keen to develop professionally within the veterinary field.
