The RoleAs a Mechanical Inspector, you will provide essential Quality and Inspection support across both existing and new business projects. You will help drive a Right First Time culture, ensuring products consistently meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards.
You’ll be working in a fast-paced aerospace environment where precision, compliance, and continuous improvement are central to success.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain robust quality control throughout the manufacturing process
- Inspect and verify component compliance at all production stages
- Complete First Off and Batch inspections
- Interpret and assess engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and quality
- Work collaboratively within cross‑functional teams to support business growth
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001
- Contribute to health, safety, environmental, energy, and sustainability objectives
We’re looking for a proactive and technically capable inspector who takes pride in delivering precision and excellence.
- Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience working within a quality control environment
- Bore micrometres
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Practical problem‑solving skills
- Aerospace industry experience
- Experience working to ISO 9001 standards
- CMM experience
- Work with a globally respected aerospace manufacturer
