Print Finisher – Continental Night Shifts

Job Overview

6pm – 6am, 3 days on, 4 days off + 1 Saturday per month

A new and exciting position has become available at one of the UK’s fastest growing online print organisations. Our Client is a rapidly growing e-commerce business where you can really add value and make a big impact in their fast-paced working environment. Whether their customers are in need of uniquely designed business cards or eye-catching flyers, they offer a vast range of high-quality products at market-leading prices.

As specialists in online printing they are experts at what they do and are looking for talented Print Finishers – specifically with stitching experience.

• Using various finishing machines:
  Guillotine, Folding, Creasing and perforating, etc. to complete jobs (depending on machine experience)
• Running test sheets to ensure final product is in line with customer requirements
• Reporting ordering or printing issues to shift managers
• Ensuring both quality and speed of work is maintained throughout
• Ensuring jobs are completed in a timely manner to meet the dispatch deadline
• Maintaining machines to a high standard ensuring minimum downtime
• Assisting with machine fixes and new parts as needed
• First aid and Fire Marshall training/duties if required
• Any other duties deemed within your skill set

• Experience in print finishing is essential – specifically stitching
• Experience using one or more of the following machines:
  Guillotine, Muller, MBO Folder, Stitcher, Cylinder, Laminator
• Strong work ethic
• Flexible attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Self‑motivated
• Excellent eye for detail
