Paint Sprayer - Gosfield, Essex - £19 p/h (DOE) - Full time (days) - Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in the Gosfield area. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering long-term stability and strong earning potential.

The Role

You will be responsible for the preparation and spraying of engineered metal products and vehicle-related components. The work is varied and hands-on, focusing on quality, consistency, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing metal surfaces for painting (cleaning, masking, sanding, priming)
Spraying components using airless and conventional spray equipment
Applying primers, base coats and topcoats to a high-quality finish
Working with steel, fabricated assemblies, and vehicle-related structures
Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are met
Maintaining spray equipment and keeping work areas clean and compliant
Working from drawings and job specifications where required

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer in an engineering, automotive, or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of paint preparation and application techniques
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality
