Junior Account Handler

PURPOSE OF ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Account Handler to work for a Lloyd’s Broker and join a friendly and supportive insurance team in their Essex office. Working closely with the Account Handlers, you’ll assist with them with handling a portfolio of clients covering a range of commercial risks.

• Support the team with administration and handling of the Theatre Scheme.
• Process documentation and data accurately using Acturis.
• Assist with renewals, mid‑term adjustments, and general policy servicing.
• Handle a range of Commercial risks including Property and Liability.
• Liaise with clients and insurers to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Provide support to account handlers and management where required.

• Working closely with the team on delegated authority business.
• Maintaining client records and correspondence.
• Preparing policy documents and updating files.
• Managing time effectively in a busy, collaborative environment.

• 3 A-Levels with minimum C grades.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling data.
• Confident, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Must be able to drive – free on-site parking provided.
