Position: Healthcare Assistant Short Shifts (4–8 hours)

This role focuses on short shifts only (4–8 hours) and suits Care Professionals who value flexibility and are open to supporting packages at short notice where possible.

Who this Role is For

This role is designed for Care Professionals who are intentionally choosing short (4–8 hours) shifts, flexible availability, and short-notice work as part of how they want to live and work. It allows you to make a real difference while keeping control of your time — on your own terms.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centered care to individuals’ homes and within their communities.
  • Support individuals in maintaining or developing new skills and personal interests.
  • Adapt care and support plans to meet the diverse needs of each individual, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Engage in proactive communication with families and care teams to ensure effective care delivery.
  • Support individuals in temporary residential placements or their own homes.
  • Preform household chores such as laundry, cleaning and food shopping.
  • Manage and support individuals with budgeting and financial management.
  • Assists with all aspects of personal care, indulging hygiene, dressing and feeding.
  • Plan, participate in and budget for community activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and clear communication with the brand team and other healthcare professionals.
Experience & Requirements
  • Preferred NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Level 2 acceptable).
  • Minimum of 6 motnhs of experience in similar healthcare settings and experience in support with complex needs, behaviours that challenge and autism.
  • Business Car Insurance would be advantageous.
  • Full UK driving license would be advantageous.
  • Comfortable working short, flexible shifts
