Are you a motivated and ambitious Assistant Town Planner looking to take the next step in your career with a leading name in residential development?

We’re working exclusively with a prestigious and well-established residential developer that’s expanding its in‑house planning team. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they’re looking to appoint an Assistant Town Planner to support the planning and delivery of high‑quality residential schemes across the South East and East of England.

You’ll work closely with a highly experienced planning and development team, supporting the submission of planning applications, liaising with local authorities, and coordinating with external consultants. This is a brilliant opportunity to gain exposure to major residential developments from inception through to delivery, with clear scope for progression and APC support if needed.

• Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications for residential developments
• Conduct site appraisals and planning research
• Liaise with local authorities, consultants, and internal teams
• Support planning appeals and community consultations
• Monitor local plans, planning policy changes, and development opportunities

• A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (RTPI accredited)
• Working towards (or recently achieved) MRTPI status
• 1-2 years’ experience in planning, ideally within a consultancy, local authority, or developer
• Strong report writing, communication, and organisational skills
  
  A proactive attitude and a genuine passion for residential development
