VIGO is looking to hire a diligent and detail-oriented BMS Estimation Engineer for a growth-focused company in the smart buildings industry. If you have experience in estimating, evaluating costs, and delivering competitive solution packages, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute meaningfully to this sector.

This role will place you at the heart of smart building and decarbonisation projects where you'll provide quality estimates and cultivate profitable relationships with clients through your insightful solutions.

As a BMS Estimation Engineer, your core mission is to analyse costs and generate comprehensive estimates for BEMS projects. You will closely interact with clients, suppliers and the internal team to derive workable and competitive proposals, while ensuring the attainment of company revenue goals.

• Prepare, scrutinise, and provide clear cost estimates for BEMS solution packages
• Negotiate and confer with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to derive the best plans
• Swiftly respond to customer inquiries and provide timely pricing feedback
• Follow up on tender proposals and keep track of the pricing market trends
• Work closely with the Sales team in preparing bid proposals
• Analyse profit and loss scenarios to optimise revenue and control costs

• Proven BMS estimating experience (3+ years) with a good knowledge of BEMS systems
• Expertise in scrutinising, interpreting, and correlating financial data effectively
• Highly proficient in customer service with a professional and responsive approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
• Eager to continually learn, improve, and adapt to market trends.
