What you'll be doing

As a Civil Engineer Summer Placement your job is like planning and drawing the detailed designs for things like roads, bridges, and water systems. You’ll create plans and models to ensure these structures are safe, efficient, and durable, and learn how to use design tools and understand engineering principles to create effective designs.

Our Summer Placements are targeted at Civil Engineering degree university students offering an 8‑week programme during the summer break. This placement provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands‑on experience and build professional skills early in your academic journey.
