Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (Spanish & French)
 
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our academy, specialising in Spanish and French.

This role offers the opportunity to inspire students, develop language skills, and support their academic and personal growth across KS3 and KS4. You will play a key role in delivering a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum while contributing to the development and improvement of the MFL department.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Spanish and French across KS3 and KS4, ensuring differentiation to meet all learners' needs.
Monitor, assess, and support student progress, acting as a form tutor and promoting achievement and wellbeing.
Contribute to curriculum development, departmental planning, and quality assurance processes.
Maintain accurate records of student attainment, assessment, and progress, supporting reporting requirements.
Support departmental initiatives, extracurricular activities, and cultural events to enhance language learning.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure excellent student outcomes.

Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong experience teaching Spanish and French at secondary level.
Excellent subject knowledge and proven classroom practice.
Ability to motivate students, raise aspirations, and create an inclusive learning environment.
Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills.
