Teacher Active is working closely with a selection of welcoming and well-resourced Primary Schools in the Basildon and Chelmsford area. We’re looking for passionate Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who are ready to make a real difference to the lives of children aged 4–11.

Whether you're supporting phonics in Year 1 or building confidence in maths with a small group in Year 5, this role is perfect for someone who thrives on seeing progress, however big or small.

Experience working with primary-aged children (school-based or similar)

A nurturing, patient and positive attitude

Confidence supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups, especially those with additional needs or SEND

Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to get stuck in and support wherever needed

Supporting children academically, emotionally and socially

Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and tailored interventions

Helping create a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels seen, safe and supported

Ongoing CPD and training through our My-Progression platform
