About the Role

Are you an experienced Contracts Manager looking for your next challenge in a highly respected specialist heritage and restoration environment? We are recruiting a proactive, organised, and experienced professional to oversee multiple high-end projects from inception to completion.

This is a hands-on position for someone who thrives on responsibility and enjoys working independently to deliver excellence. You will manage contracts across a variety of landmark and heritage projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full management of multiple contracts from pre-contract stage through to completion.
  • Oversight of project teams, including site managers, subcontractors, and employees, ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
  • Development of strong client and partner relationships; attending and contributing to site meetings.
  • Programming, resource allocation, and deployment of skilled labour on projects.
  • Monitoring and controlling budgets and contract costs; preparation of valuations and final accounts.
  • Identification and mitigation of contractual risks, claims, and cost variations.
  • Implementation of improvements in systems, processes, and operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in professional contracts management within the construction industry (5+ years). Experience with masonry or natural stone preferred but not essential.
  • Strong analytical, management, and people skills.
  • Flexible, proactive, and results-driven with the ability to take ownership.
  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills in English.
  • Computer literate in MS Office and project management tools.
  • CIOB accredited, post-graduate or similar qualification.
  • Valid CSCS or SMSTS certification and a full UK driving licence.
