We are hiring an Infant Assistant Teacher to support children ages 6 weeks to 15 months
. This is a hands-on, heart-forward role for someone who finds joy in nurturing routines, early milestones, and building secure attachments during a child’s very first year of learning.

• Support the lead infant teacher in providing responsive, nurturing care
• Assist with feeding routines, bottle prep, diapering, and safe sleep practices
• Help maintain infants’ individualized schedules for feeding and sleeping
• Engage babies through talking, singing, reading, and floor-based play
• Support early motor development through tummy time, crawling, and movement
• Observe and help document developmental milestones (rolling, sitting, babbling)
• Provide comfort during transitions, separation, and moments of distress
• Maintain a clean, safe, and calm classroom environment
• Follow all infant care, health, safety, and EEC policies
• Communicate with families alongside the classroom teacher
• Work closely with your teaching team to ensure consistency and care

Remark:
This is a physically active role that includes time on the floor, lifting up to 50 lbs, and being on your feet most of the day.

• Can work the required schedule listed in this posting, with flexibility to adjust hours based on the needs of the center
• Occasional evenings or weekends for training or special events
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
• Ability to sit, bend, squat, kneel, and lift infants safely throughout the day
• Can lift to 50 pounds

$17.50 - $21 an hour

Payroll is processed weekly.
