Overview
The Director, Academic Development, has the primary responsibility for the long-term growth and development of ACDV 101, which is designed to be a key part of the students' First Year Experience and transition into college. Master s degree and three (3) years of experience in post-secondary education required, preferably in a Community College.
Experience with curriculum development, faculty professional development, or student success initiatives (e.g., first-year experience, advising, career pathways). Knowledge of best practices in student retention, first-year programs, academic development, and guided pathways. Two years of teaching experience preferred. Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate s education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
