Global Sales Leader – Advanced Industrial Products

Are you a commercially driven leader ready to take ownership of a globally recognised product group?

Our client – a leading international industrial manufacturer – is seeking a Sales Leader to drive global sales performance across one of their market leading product groups. This is a rare opportunity to shape strategy, strengthen customer relationships, and play a key part in a world-class engineering and manufacturing organisation.

We welcome candidates from industrial sectors where customers, sales channels and buying dynamics closely align. This includes businesses supplying heavy mechanical systems, power-transmission or motion-control components, process-industry motors and drives, or bearings, sealing and lubrication solutions characterised by long sales cycles, technical selling and strong aftermarket exposure.

The Opportunity

As Sales Leader, you will define and execute the commercial strategy for the product group and take responsibility for delivering sales, gross margin and EBITDAR targets worldwide. You will oversee a diverse customer base, develop new market opportunities, and act as the voice of the customer within the organisation.

This is a high-impact role with visibility across the global business, offering the autonomy to lead, influence and grow a critical product line. This company is very profitable and at an extremely exciting time in its corporate development due to an exciting M&A strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a winning commercial strategy to exceed annual sales and profitability targets.
  • Lead business development activities, identifying new markets, customers and product opportunities.
  • Map and prioritise global leads, monitor competitor landscape, and strengthen value proposition.
  • Drive the sales pipeline via Sales Force, managing opportunities through quotation phases.
  • Prepare and support the Annual Operating Plan and long-term strategic planning (5-year plan).
  • Manage customer relationships, escalations and AR resolution; act as a trusted interface between customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure effective route-to-market strategies and execution of commercial policies, pricing and terms.
  • Guide and support Inside Sales to ensure seamless customer communication and service.
What you will bring to the role
  • Strong commercial leadership experience (within industrial, automotive, or engineered systems).
  • Deep product, application or market knowledge — or the ability to rapidly acquire it.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Confident communicator, able to influence across functions in a matrix environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with ownership, accountability and cultural agility.
  • Proficiency in Sales Force and modern sales management tools.
