Drive access, impact, and innovation in hematology as the strategic partner to key healthcare accounts.

Proclinical is seeking a Key Account Manager (KAM) in Hematology to join a dynamic team based in Germany. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining strong commercial relationships with healthcare professionals and decision‑makers in hospitals to enhance access to products within key accounts. This position is ideal for someone passionate about hematology and rare diseases, with a strong ability to collaborate across functions and deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with office‑based and hospital hematologists, pharmacists, nurses, and other relevant healthcare personnel.
  • Promote a positive image of the company among key customer groups.
  • Analyze the assigned area to identify and develop key centers for the rare disease PNH.
  • Provide educational and commercial support to physicians and pharmacies.
  • Drive product sales in alignment with marketing and sales strategies while adhering to legal and compliance guidelines.
  • Plan, organize, and execute local educational sessions for healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with teams such as Marketing, Medical Science Liaisons (MSL), and Account Management.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting in the CRM database and provide updates to senior management.
  • Collect and report pharmacovigilance information in line with internal procedures.
  • Represent the territory during reviews, account planning discussions, and at national/international events and congresses.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws and company policies.
Key Skills and Requirements
  • Background in biotechnology or pharmaceutical sales, preferably in the orphan market, or a Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field with a strong sales mindset.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
  • Experience in managing scientific events and projects.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with healthcare providers in both community and academic settings.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations within the country.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the territory, including overnight stays.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
