Job Details:

• Rotating weeknight and weekend shifts required with 30-minute call-back response time

• Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles required

• Utilize nursing process to provide direct patient care to assigned group of patients during shift

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs and responses

• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols

• Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel

• Must complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing

• Must pass BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmias) testing during first week of assignment

• Two years current experience required in specialty

• At least one 13-week previous travel assignment required

• Must be team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment

• Required certifications:
New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License, BLS, ACLS, PALS

• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required

• EPIC experience preferred
