METT Marbella – Estepona is looking for an  Assistant Director of Food & Beverage   to support the leadership and day-to-day management of our dynamic F&B operation. This role is key to ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and strong financial performance across Isola, Bar de Lola, Banqueting and In Room Dining, while upholding METT brand standards.

Main responsibilities
Support the Director of F&B in the daily operation and strategic planning of Isola, Bar de Lola, Banqueting and In Room Dining.
Work in collaboration with other outlets led by Director of Lifestyle Dining.
Assist in achieving budgeted revenues, cost control, and profitability, contributing to forecasting and financial follow-up.
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service and guest satisfaction, aligned with METT brand standards.
Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Outlet Managers to ensure smooth operations and product excellence.
Help drive an up-selling and performance-driven culture within the service teams, supporting engagement and motivation.
Monitor operational efficiency and productivity through process improvement and cross-department collaboration
Support the implementation and follow-up of brand standards, operating procedures, and legal compliance (health & safety, hygiene, labor regulations).
Participate in menu reviews, promotions, and initiatives to ensure offerings remain competitive and aligned with market trends.
Assist in the development and execution of marketing initiatives in collaboration with Sales & Marketing.
Support recruitment, training, coaching, and development of the F&B team.
Act as a role model on the floor, ensuring a professional, hands-on leadership presence.
Handle guest feedback and operational issues in a proactive and solution-oriented manner.

Qualifications
Proven experience in a senior F&B management role within a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment.
Fluent in Spanish and English
Strong operational knowledge of restaurants, bars, and banqueting.
Financial acumen with experience supporting budgets, forecasts, and cost control.
Excellent communication and team engagement skills.
Guest-focused mindset with high standards of service excellence..
Flexible, hands-on, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
