Junior Flight Software Engineer

FENTISS is a technology company based in Valencia that specializes in developing safety-critical embedded software for various industries including space, aviation, and automotive.

• Developing and Testing embedded software deeply understanding the underlying hardware architecture.
• Perform software validation and verification.
• Write documentation for software products/projects.
• Design software to meet requirements.

• Ability to develop rigorous and precise code.
• Ability to write clear documentation in English.
• High motivation to grow as a safety critical software engineer in embedded systems.
• Fluency using Libre Office tools:
  Calc, Writer, Impress.

Education
:

We’re looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following (or related) fields:

• Software Engineering
• Aerospace Engineering (with deep software focus)
• Telecommunications Engineering (with deep software focus)

Languages
:

• Spanish is not strictly necessary.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken (B2).
• French (valuable).

Valuable Skills
:

• Project management tools.
• Experience in qualification and certification processes (ECSS and DO-178C).
• Experience in real-time operating systems.
• Experience in aerospace on-board software.
• Experience in LaTeX.
• Experience in Python.
