Part 1 Architectural Assistant / CAD Technician

Location:

Office-based (within 30 minutes commute)

Contract:

Initial 6-month contract (strong potential to go permanent)
Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 per annum

We’re working with a well-established and highly regarded architectural practice who, following a period of steady growth, are now looking to strengthen their technical team with the addition of a Part 1 Architectural Assistant / CAD Technician.

This role has been created to support the CAD team on residential planning applications and drawing production. Initially offered as a 6-month contract, there is a strong likelihood of the role becoming permanent, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to establish themselves within a supportive, long-standing practice.

The Role

* Assisting the CAD team with drawing production

* Working on residential planning applications

* Producing drawings primarily using AutoCAD

* Supporting the wider team as required, including assisting the graphics team during busy periods

* Working under the supervision of an experienced Team Leader

* Fully office-based role

About You

* Part 1 Architectural Assistant, Part 2 student, or CAD Technician

* Strong AutoCAD experience is essential

* Experience with Sketch Up is advantageous

* Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team

* Reliable, proactive, and keen to learn

* Must be based within a 30-minute commute
