Buds to Blossoms Nurseries Limited is seeking a dependable and conscientious Kitchen
Assistant / Housekeeper to support our nursery team and help maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for our children.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks in line with food hygiene regulations

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen, nursery rooms, toilets, and
communal areas

• Managing laundry duties including washing, drying, and organising nursery linens

• Following all health & safety, infection control, and food safety procedures

• Working respectfully and appropriately in areas where children are present
Safeguarding & Child Protection
The welfare of children is paramount at Buds to Blossoms Nurseries Limited. All staff are expected to actively promote and safeguard the wellbeing of children.

This role involves working within a childcare environment and regular contact with children. An enhanced DBS check, suitable references, and ongoing safeguarding training are required.

Essential Requirements

• A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate (mandatory)

• A good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness in an early years setting

• Reliability, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility
Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience in a kitchen or housekeeping role

• Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate
