Drain Technicians are the heroes to our customers, diagnosing issues and helping them get up and running again, whether it’s drain cleaning or preventative maintenance.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3+ years relevant trade experience.
- Proficiency using drain tools, materials and equipment.
- Knowledge of install equipment and materials for drain and sewer line install/repair.
- Understand and follow Uniform Plumbing Code and City Regulations.
- Willingness and ability to work periodic evenings and weekends on call schedule.
- Valid California driver’s license in good standing.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must keep van organized and provide proper care for provided equipment.
The Drain Install Technician will be responsible for performing and coordinating drain and sewer line install/repair jobs. The Technician will assess the customers’ issues, provide quotation, follow-up with customers to sell the job, pull permits (if necessary), perform and complete the job.
- A pleasant personality and a passion for great customer service are required!
- Ability to diagnose, assess and consult with customer on the OPTIONS available to them to make the best decision for their drain and sewer system
- Familiarity with drain system, types of pipes, and code requirements
- Install, repair and replace all drain fixtures, toilets, garbage disposals, drain assembly
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate drain snake, hydro-jetter, and sewer camera
- Provide excellent customer service while discussing repairs, options and pricing
- Keep vans, tools and work areas clean and organized
- Must be able to step up into the van, sit and drive from job to job.
- Must be physically able to climb steps and ladders.
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs and be able to push/pull a dolly or equipment on wheels to transport items up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, twist, squat and kneel to complete plumbing tasks.
- Must be able to perform duties overhead and under counters.
- Required to use hands throughout the day for driving, holding tools and performing tasks requiring twisting, squeezing and turning motions.
- Must be able to dig trenches or holes and use a jackhammer.

Job Type: Full time
Pay: $60,000 ~ $120,000 per year
Schedule- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
