Security Officer - Checkpoint Screener

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening protocols, and security-related policies at a healthcare location;
Conduct entry screening activities such as directing foot traffic, confirming visitor authorization, checking identification and/or badges, and monitoring for prohibited items in accordance with site requirements;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification of clinical staff, management, and/or emergency responders as appropriate;
Complete required documentation such as incident reports, activity logs, and screening records, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff;
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated interior areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity
