Outside Sales Representative – HVAC & Commercial

Sunbelt Rentals Climate Control Service is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to rent and sell portable air conditioners, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers and temporary heaters within an assigned territory. The typical customer base includes commercial customers, contractors and event companies. You will cultivate existing accounts and develop new ones, and work closely with our General Tool Division and other Specialty Divisions to provide turnkey solutions utilizing Sunbelt’s equipment and services.

You will collaborate with Sales Reps and Managers across the organization to maximize penetration in both new and existing customer bases.

• Develop a career track and leverage your current skills in a challenging role
• Engage with customers to rent and sell HVAC and climate-control equipment
• Work with cross-divisional teams to deliver turnkey solutions
• Collaborate with sales colleagues and managers to maximize market penetration

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in equipment rental or HVAC industry
• 2+ years of direct sales experience
• Current/valid driver’s license in good standing and proof of auto insurance
• Project management, new business development and customer retention skills

• Sales track record in a solution-selling approach
• High-volume sales experience

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.

Base Pay Range: $40,000.. Total compensation includes base pay, company vehicle, and robust commission plan. Starting pay may vary based on position, location, education, training, and/or experience. Sunbelt also offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including:
