Outside Sales Representative

Overview

Outside Sales Representative role at Empire Today — Escondido, CA. The position involves meeting with customers in their homes to help find the best flooring products for their needs. Hot leads are generally within a 1-hour radius. Leverage the strength of a well-known brand to generate revenue through referrals and prospecting additional customers.

The role is 100% commission with commission bonuses; other compensation and benefits are available through company programs.

• Represent a quality brand in the industry and engage customers through in-home consultations
• Meet face-to-face with customers, using leads provided and generating additional opportunities
• Achieve monthly self-generated sales targets (Business Development)
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions (in person or virtually)
• Utilize a tablet and laser measuring device to facilitate diagramming and contract preparation
• Present professionally, including Empire-branded apparel
• Provide excellent customer service and develop community-based sales
• Receive paid training and have access to a toolkit for success

• Valid driver’s license and vehicle large enough for flooring sample boards
• Valid auto insurance
• Ability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions (in person and/or virtual)
• Business Development: achieve a monthly minimum of self-generated sales
• Availability for evening and weekend appointments
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Ability to use a tablet device and laser measuring device for diagramming and contract preparation
• Present professionally, including Empire-branded apparel
