Position: IN-HOUSE ONLY SPRING Program (site) -Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Priority Consideration will be given to those that are available to work the duration of the program and according to the Merit Rules listed below. It is not necessary for current employees to provide work history (beyond current), reference names and/ or phone numbers, however you will need to enter NA in order to bypass required fields. Current substitutes will be eligible for selection AFTER priorities a-c are met.

Employees who have worked in the classification, have successfully met the expectations of the class, and maintained necessary licenses or other requirements of the assignment.

Qualified employees working in other related classifications and successfully met the expectations of those classes, and maintained necessary licenses or other requirements of the assignment.

Qualified employees working in non-related classifications but who meet the minimum requirements of the classification for the assignment so as to provide evidence of ability to perform in such assignment.

Qualified persons not currently employed by the District in a regular‑status position but meet the requirements of the classification for the assignment.

Positions Available

Licensed Vocational Nurse (Range 37) – 3 Positions (Program 1 (Elementary)). April 6‑April 10, 2026, 8.0 hrs/day, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday‑Friday).
Locations:
Central, Farr, and Reidy Creek.
Licensed Vocational Nurse (Range 37) – 1 Position (Program 1 (Middle School)). April 6‑April 10, 2026, 8.0 hrs/day, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday‑Friday).
Location:

Bear Valley;
Note Tuesday‑Friday will require travel with students on field trips to various locations (i.e. UCSD challenge course, Sea World, stand‑up paddle boarding, strawberry picking, archery, and Fleet Science Center).

Rate of Pay:
Employees will be compensated at their hourly rate per Merit Rule 7.300.3. Overtime (after 8 hours per day) will be paid at 1.5 times their regular pay rate.

Note:

4/7‑4/8 are designated as Bargained Vacation on the LVN work calendar. As a result, day(s) will be converted to a "paid workday" and vacation leave will be credited back to an employee’s leave balance (up to 8 hours) and overtime paid for any hours worked over 8 hours.
