ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Amp Department Technician assembles and tests amplifier racks per client or operations coordinator specifications مہ. Assembly includes, but is not always limited to, installation, patching, and power. Gear includes a wide array of professional audio effects and dynamics processors, record/playback, and sound management.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Assemble and inspect amplifier racks per specification
  • Run audio equipment tests
  • Clean and inspect racks and electronics
  • Use ERP system to locate necessary patching and accessories
  • Provide assistance with cycle counts and late returns
  • Pack amplifiers and equipment for safe transport outside of racks
  • Contribute to the overall activities of the ACS or other departments as may be required from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to read and follow written instructions
  • Strong technical problem solving skill set
  • Passion for electronics and the audio industry with a genuine interest in learning new technologies
  • Ability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced, client driven, demanding environment
  • Ability to work as part a team and maintain a positive attitude under sometimes challenging conditions
  • Willingness to accept all jobs assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma or GED with previous experience working audio equipment
  • Trade or Technical School in related subjects a plus
  • Experience using basic hand and power tools
  • Soldering or mechanical experience a plus
  • General understanding of Microsoft Office programs with a willingness to improve knowledge base moving forward
