Clinical RN II - Cardiovascular Acute with a $20K Hiring Incentive at Palomar Health.

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group within an unit and manage day-to-day clinical activities.
• Coordinate plan of care with the client, their family, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel, using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
• Adhere to the California Nurse Practice Act, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, the ANA Bill of Rights for Registered Nurses, and the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice for Nursing.
• Observe and direct patient lifts and mobilization; participate in patient handling as needed.
• Communicate in English (speaking and reading) at a level sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Demonstrate knowledge of standard office equipment and computer software (Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, internet, e-mail).
• Perform other duties as assigned; follow Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards; uphold the mission, vision, and quality commitments.

• Minimum Education: As required by certification and/or licensure
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum Experience: 1 year of directly related RN experience in area of specialty
• Preferred Experience: 2+ years of directly related RN experience in area of specialty
• Required Certification: American Heart Association recognized BLS - Healthcare Provider
• Preferred Certification: Not Applicable
• Required License: Current CA RN License
• Preferred License: Not Applicable
