Join the Rite of Passage team as a licensed or registered therapist at San Pasqual Academy in Escondido, CA. The position is full‑time and commences in a residential high‑school setting.

San Pasqual Academy is located on 238 acres in a rural valley. The campus offers the amenities of a private high school, including classrooms, an auditorium, a gym, and a cafeteria. Students participate in sports, extracurricular activities, and a supportive residential environment.

Rate starting at $72,000 per year. Sign‑on bonus of $5,000 paid at 3 and 6 months. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, company‑paid life insurance, 403(b) match up to 6% after 1 year, paid time off accruing from day one, and more.

You will provide individual, family, and group therapy as indicated by program needs, including clinical assessment, service planning, record keeping, and service coordination with a multidisciplinary team. You will develop and oversee treatment plans, document and assess the effectiveness of interventions, and maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation. Crisis intervention, monthly progress notes, discharge summaries, clinical supervision, and collaboration with education, residential, and clinical leadership are also required.

• Licensed or registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• Experience working in a residential setting and with at‑risk adolescent populations.
• Familiarity with an electronic health records system, preferably EXYM.
• Strong communication, written, and organizational skills.
• Practical time‑management skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Current state driver’s license with an acceptable record for the past three years.
• Pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical exam, and TB test.
