Legacy Care is a company that provides geriatric chronic illness care at home so that older adults with chronic illnesses can stay home and be cared for in a dignified and life‑enhancing manner. We specialize in post‑hospital, post‑rehab care, especially for those who have lost their ability to walk or take care of themselves due to a medical incident or from spending too much time in a hospital bed.

We are looking for four life‑enhancement caregivers who can work flexible shifts, short shifts, part‑time or full‑time, in Encinitas. Pay starting at $20/hr.

• Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
• Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Light housekeeping activities
• Medication reminder
• Provide companionship
• Assist with errands and shopping
• Symptom management
• Documentation and reporting

• Current active HCA (Home Care Aide) with previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Medical Assistant, or similar role
• Current negative TB test or chest X‑ray to rule out TB
• Reliable transportation
• First aid and CPR certified
• Knowledge of light housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
