As Supervisor, Patient Care RN – Behavioral Health unit at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego, you will lead a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality care for patients on their recovery journey. In this role, you’ll ensure that nursing practices align with the highest standards of care and foster a culture of safety and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Patient Care Manager to provide leadership for the unit, overseeing daily staffing and ensuring optimal patient care.
- Lead efforts to improve patient flow, bed placement, and transitions of care using cutting-edge technology.
- Ensure seamless patient hand-offs between levels of care and actively involve nursing staff in planning and coordination.
- Promote a patient-centered approach to care while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for both staff and patients.
