Geotechnical Engineer

Our client is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer for their Escondido office for work in San Diego County.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform and manage geotechnical engineering studies Interface with Client to determine project needs Prepare scopes of services, proposals, and budget estimates Coordinate and supervise staff and subcontractors Analyze field and laboratory data Prepare geotechnical engineering reports Other duties include geotechnical plan review, earthwork project management, and attending project design and construction meetings.

Qualifications:

B.S. in Civil Engineering required Master’s degree preferred California PE registration is required, GE registration is required or can be obtained within 1-2 years 5 or more years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related discipline preferred California project experience preferred Must possess strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical capabilities Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment Valid California Driver’s License and clean DMV report are a must Willing to market to new clients
