Mar Con Engineering Inc provides comprehensive engineering services for land development, new construction, repair, retrofit, and renovations, paving and surface improvements, concrete, and general engineering constructions. Our projects and services encompass industrial and commercial buildings, including the design and development of all aspects of construction consisting of structural concrete, framing, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural finish. We also provide a variety of services for all site improvement work such as grading, paving, excavation, demolition, road construction, parking lot construction, concrete pad installation, procurement, and installation of a variety of prefabricated or modular commercial buildings, utility connections, and installation of water, storm drain structures and various underground utilities.

We are seeking engineering or construction management professionals with 1+ year of experience in project management. It is an added plus if you have developed design concepts, actual designs, and proposals. Follow projects from design to completion.

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related degree, or equivalent experience in a construction-related position
• Prior experience in directing and coordinating the construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements, as well as inspecting
• Knowledge of preparing specifications for the purchase of materials and equipment
• Supervising and training project team members as necessary
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• The ability to travel with possible short-term relocation, as required
• The ability to read blueprints
• Experience with Sage Timberline, Primavera Suretrak, and Microsoft Office Suite software
• The ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, problem solve, supervise, and organize while using effective time management skills

Mar Con Engineering Inc salaried employees are expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. During busy seasons, in some cases, this position will require work on evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position is FLSA-exempt.

Occasional travel may be required in this role to job sites, off-site meetings, and/or internal local events.
