Overall Job Summary

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute "start to finish" tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
• Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion and issues.
• Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store measurements.
• Complete cycle counts and the Tractor Way top cap process.
• Hang signage, assemble merchandise and fixtures, and review planogram integrity.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value, and Appreciate Customers.
• Ensure a positive shopping experience that differentiates from competitors.
• Provide peak coverage as needed, e.g., during holiday sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Prior retail or merchandising experience required; farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is required.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding fields is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions

• Indoor and outdoor work environments with moderate noise.
• Shifts generally no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
• Travel between store locations using personal vehicle.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and promote a safe work environment.
• Hard surfaces like concrete and asphalt; adequate lighting and temperature.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel as needed.
• Ability to push/pull up to 2000 pounds with equipment.
• Lift or reach merchandise overhead occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, climb ladders regularly.
• Operate store equipment and handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Complete training successfully.
