Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Erlanger, KY. As a Lead Aircraft Mechanic at Endeavor Air, you will be tasked with overseeing and executing maintenance and repairs on aircraft to ensure they meet airworthiness standards. Daily responsibilities include inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing systems, coordinating with team members to facilitate operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, supervising maintenance activities, and maintaining detailed documentation.

The Lead Aircraft Mechanic will also support mentoring and guiding team members to uphold operational efficiency and safety.

Qualifications
  • Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing various aircraft systems including avionics, hydraulics, and engines
  • Strong understanding of maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations
  • Experience with technical documentation, reporting, and maintenance recordkeeping
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and guide team members
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required
  • Previous experience in an aircraft maintenance or mechanic lead role strongly preferred
  • Ability to work flexible shifts as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays
