Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Welding Technician to join our team. As a Welding Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient welding production processes. This is a full‑time position with opportunities for growth and development.
This is a predominately onsite position at our welding/manufacturing facility in Florence, KY. You must live locally within the tri‑state for the daily commute.
FOR 8 WEEKS OF THE YEAR, TRAVEL TO CUSTOMER SITES IS REQUIRED.
1st Shift: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday
Travel (required)Travel to customer sites with team is required 8 weeks of the year (January - May as peak road season). During road travel, typical schedule is Monday - Sunday 12+ hours / day. Depending on project scope, a travel assignment could be 5-25 days. All hours worked after 40 are paid at 1.5 hourly rate.
Duties- Hard face welding (will teach as necessary)
- Setting up and fine tuning automatic welder
- Maintaining paper work for inventory and orders
- Assisting Team with other shop projects as needed
- Very mechanically inclined
- Basic welding skills
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding
- Self‑motivated and hard working
- Ability to excel in a workplace with few employees
- Good communication and ability to work well with others
- Detail oriented
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Maintenance experience
- Offroad forklift experience
- Manufacturing experience
- MSHA / OSHA
