💰 $28.00 – $35.50/hour | Direct Hire | 12-Hour Shifts (Days & Nights Available)

Are you the person people call when the machine goes down — and the one who makes sure it doesn't go down again? We're looking for a seasoned Automation Technician to join a high-performing manufacturing team in Erlanger, KY. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a competitive pay rate and a benefits package built to keep top talent around.

• Days: 7 AM – 7 PM
• Nights: 7 PM – 7 AM
• Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating

• Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing and facility equipment, including mold presses, auxiliary systems, and plant machinery
• Diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical issues — with clear short- and long-term recommendations
• Support and improve the preventative maintenance program to maximize machine uptime
• Lead equipment and process improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate maintenance history records for all equipment
• Coordinate with production and tooling teams to schedule maintenance and communicate repair needs
• Monitor parts inventory and establish order points, specifications, and cost controls
• Train and develop shift personnel to drive efficiency and skill growth
• Provide shift management with timely, detailed updates on equipment status and corrective actions

• High school diploma or GED required; additional technical credentials a plus
• 5+ years of automation experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong PLC programming and electrical controls knowledge
• Solid mechanical aptitude with general machining capabilities
• Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical/electronic components of manufacturing equipment
• Excellent communication skills — written and verbal
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet production standards
• Ability to lift 45–50 lbs. individually; team lift up to 100 lbs.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, crouch, squat, and reach as needed
